Eyecare in Nepal

In 2009 I travelled to Nepal with the The Fred Hollows Foundation to document the sight-saving program they run with the Tilganga Institute of Opthalmology. These two organisations are working together to eradicate Nepal of preventable blindness.

The charity relies upon donations to fund its ongoing work and so the telling of compelling stories is crucial to maintain public support for the work it does.

Project Palisade

The below picture, from my Wedding Watching project, is included in a guerilla-style paste-up exhibition by the enigmatic Red Door Society. Images from around Sydney’s historic precinct The Rocks have been pasted on the hoardings of the Hotel Palisade, a once favoured drinking hole for Sydney photojournalists that is currently under extensive renovation. Watch the video by Andrew Quilty.
